Dhilgee is one of Nordic Approach's flavour concepts where the coffees coming from the same region in Ethiopia are categorised based on shared characteristics. The word means "bloody red" in the Oromiffa language and represents the coffees from the many different locations in the country that can be described as having an overall round and sweet quality, notes of red berries, light florals and purple fruit.
This lot comes from a washing station in Nensebo called Refisa and is one of two lots that we got. It has a syrupy mouthfeel with a peach-like sweetness and acidity.
